Where Have You Been?
So, I took a break... It's been two months since I've made a post on here and for that, I'm so sorry. As many of you know (if you're a follower on TikTok) I tend to go a little MIA when my mental health starts getting tough to deal with. I stop making content, posting, checking social media, responding, etc. Basically, I shut down and hide in my depression cave of a bedroom until I finally have the motivation to be alive again.
There aren't a lot of excuses for not posting here though. This is a collection of thoughts to help everybody feel less alone, and I haven't been using it that way. Part of why is because lylliasoleil.com recently (February) had a rebuild that was nothing but headaches. From delayed launches, lost submissions and analytics, and lost subscribers (6.7k) I was needless to say a little overwhelmed. Regardless of our many setbacks, I'm back! I won't say better than ever because honestly, I'm still struggling. Mental health is a constant battle, and that's okay. Every day I'm trying to be better than I was the day before.
Anyways, let's talk about what's next in the world of LadyLessons with Lyllia Soleil. Obviously, we have the website, she's back and blog posts will be returning more frequently as we get life under control. LadyLessons on TikTok are still happening just sometimes when #LadyLessons is used TikTok likes to shadowban me and hide my content so stay on the lookout for new videos! Youtube, I know I know I keep saying "it's coming soon" but this time I mean it, sorta. I want you all to have access to bigger parts of what's going on in my life and how I'm dealing with it, and then we can have full conversations about bigger topics. I LOVE TikTok but we all know sometimes 60 seconds isn't enough. However, I will say that maybe a podcast is coming soon instead? Of course, I want youtube to happen and be amazing but a podcast might be more fun. I just keep imagining a group of girlfriends driving on their way to something together listening to LadyLessons on a podcast and connecting with each other, realizing they're not alone. Personally, I love listening to a good podcast on a Sunday while I'm running around the house cleaning and getting things done. It makes me feel less alone like I have a friend with me to make the everyday tasks a little easier.
Well, there's the update babies. We still have a lot to work on and a lot of routines to get into, but we're doing it. One day at a time. If you read this all the way through I love you and hope you have a great rest of your day.
